Accommodation

Llain is annually inspected by the Wales Tourist Board. It currently holds a 2 star Activity Accommodation grading.

We have two types of accommodation to suit your requirements. Our chalets provide excellent facilities and have are popular with all groups. They are continually upgraded and well maintained.

Each chalet comprises two bedrooms, living room and a shower room with toilet. Bedrooms sleep 4 pupils in bunk beds. Smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and emergency lights are fitted in all chalets. All large windows have toughened glass or have been coated to conform with the latest government safety standards and recommendations.

Group leaders have their own chalet which includes a shower room, kitchen area with fridge, cooker and hot drinks making facilities. There are two bedrooms which each sleep two people in comfortable pine beds.

For more budget style accommodation we have a Lodge which sleeps up to 40 people in five rooms sleeping between 4 and 10 people. There is a shower and toilet block adjacent to the building which includes hot showers and washing facilities.

Group leaders are accommodated in a fully fitted mobile home and a new chalet which are sited next to the bunkhouse. Both have private shower rooms, kitchen areas, lounge and bedrooms.

Clients are required to bring their own sleeping bags or bedding and a pillow case. (Bedding is provided for group leaders).

Food

Meal Times

At Llain we realise that it is very important to replace all of those calories that you have burnt off during the days activities, therefore your meals are carefully chosen to provide a balanced and varied diet. All meals are freshly prepared and cooked to the highest standards. Many of the dishes are home made to our own recipes. There is a choice of main courses at every meal and we are happy to cater for vegetarians, vegans or any other special dietary requirement that you may have.

Meals are served in our dining room which is converted barn, now restored to add a touch of character to your meal. Food is provided on a full board basis from the evening meal on the day of arrival to a packed lunch on the day of departure.

Menu

Our evening meal menu undergoes constant review and all meals are prepared by our qualified and experienced catering staff. They understand both the nutritional value and food preferences of all ages and types of groups that come to Llain. The menu is chosen with each individual group in mind. Each day there are a selection of home made dishes to chose from. Our specialities include Llain Lasagne, home made pizza and the best chilli outside of Mexico.
